can I replace my horn?
The dual horns on my '51 Chevy work but I just bought the Ahoogah horn and will be putting that in, but are Ahoogah's legal as the main horn? or do I have to wire it in auxillary? You don't know what you've got til it's gone

I think it would qualify.........they are pretty loud. My Kid has one on his T and he insists on blowing it every so often and it startles me each time.

that's what I was thinking. just wanted to make sure...
The original horns are wired into a strip, so I can just disconnect them and wire the Ahoogah in place.. I'll get some cotton clad wire from 1 of the suppliers to make it look correctYou don't know what you've got til it's gone

Go for it Matt! My father in law's 39 Ford has the Ahoogah horn on it as the primary horn and never a complaint. Most people, especially kids, love it.
I replace my horn on my 34 Plymouth with an original Roadrunner horn. Beep Beep!A friend replaced his horn with the air horns that play "Dixie" or make animal sounds along with bells and whistles.
Just don't blow it in a hospital zone.Bob

I was thinking about replacing the horn on my '65 Rambler with a JC Whitney Road Runner knockoff horn ( the original single tone horn sounds sick, but I'm probably just used to dual tone )... I will be putting the Ahoogah in the Chevy.
Upon some research of the E.A labs name, I found out they are 1 of the best sounding Ahooga horns that were madeLast edited by Matt167; 07-24-2008 at 10:03 AM.

You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
