Non US Members, Hot Rod Pics
This thread sort of serves two purposes, for all the CHR members outside of the US to come out of the woodwork, and to show off pictures of their car, their mates' cars, and photos from car shows from their locality.
To get it all started, here is a collection of over 200 photos I took from a recent event here in NZ, one of the largest, and most poupular events of the year.
And also some photos from a drag racing event last year can be found here.
I hope you all enjoy seeing how we do things down here! However, I'm certainly no photographer by any means.Last edited by pairodice; 02-01-2008 at 01:29 PM.

Hi from Norway!
I'm in the process of making a Duval windshield.
I don't want to spent 1200$ to buy one, so I made some paper templates from a friends hot rod and translated them over to thin wood plates so I could do a mock up and check the look before I start making it in steel.
The car is a steel bodied '34 Roadster with Chevy 350 engine, 6 speed manual trans, Jaguar IRS and Fat Man stage III Mustang II IFS.
The chassis is all done except the exhaust and brake/fuel lines.
The grille insert i home made in stainless steel. The hood sides are home made too.

Some photos from a car show I went to yesterday. Was a good day, not a huge show, but plenty of cool cars.

My grandfather, mom's side, drove a 39 Plymouth coupe when I was about 4 or 5 and I thought it was pretty cool and I loved the tail fins on the 49 Cadillac. I drew cars when I was in the 5th and 6th...
How did you get hooked on cars?
