I ran one years ago on my pro stocker---worked very good and no carbon tracking or ionizing of the air causing mis-fire
I have run a clear blue one on my trike for 5-6 years, no problems.
Mine shows to anyone behind me and it does look cool at night.

will they work on any distributor? My distributor is an ugly brown putty color. really does not set off well against the rest of the engine. are they pricey?

just type in clear distributer in google and a ton of sites that sell them will come up. The picture above was from Mr. Gasget. Unless you have a wierd rare engine the probably have something for you!
