We have friends in government.......
..........believe it or not. Though their numbers are small admittedly. In these days of ever more government attack on our freedoms, and in particular how we use energy in our hobby, it would be in your best interests to know who you can contact in the hopes that they will feel stronger by getting your support.
Here's a list of State Representatives by state who have shown positive efforts in the interest of auto hobbyists;

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

In our neighborhood, 2 blocks down the hill was a gas station that (to me) all the cool car guys hung out there. 32 coupes, 33 & 34 Fords as well, a sweet 56 Ford Beach wagon that was setup gasser...
