Fantasy Rides of the 60's
I really love those crazy Kustom Kars from the 60’s.
Those incredible futuristic wild cars of designers like Cushenbery, Starbird, Roth, Titus, Barris, Wilhelm and Jeffries.
My problem is, there is very little info on the web dedicated to these incredible artists.
Does anyone know of a site dedicated to these fantasy rides?

It was a crazy time. A couple of my faves were the "Undertaker" and that "Wild Dream" finned T built by Joe Wilhelm. I saw them, and many others at the Indianapolis show.Last edited by HOTRODPAINT; 07-24-2008 at 07:22 PM.

i always like the uncertain T , cool car with some strange history..
Age and treachery will always overcome youth and enthusiasm.

The Uncertain T always looked to me like the Hunchback of Notre Dame should be driving it........the backrest goes the wrong way!Cool car though.

Show cars really got weird in that period. Roth's cars got just plain stupid, like toilets and pool tables. Even that Druid princess was pretty strange. I think it is getting restored.

Here is another of my own favorites.
I wore a camouflage T-shirt once. The response in the pub was "Oooh, it's a floating head!" .
