A little Progress on the T....

Not much progress....(actually looks like Im going backwards!!..:o ) I finally got the old floor boards and support braces removed and got the new floor frame and supports in. Also got the body channeled about where I want it. Only about 4 inches, but I think Im gonna stop there. I was origninally going for a slammed look, but seems like everyones doin that nowadays....I think Ill do like Itoldyouso said much earlier to me.....Im stickin with the 60's theme...:p ......I love the 50's look, but I grew up in the 60's and I guess Im just stuck in a time warp!!....:LOL: Only took one pic, so here's a little before and after shot.....waddaya think??

Thanks for the inspiration Don! The first pic (the green one) is the look Im gonna go for the first time around (cept for the HUGE tires Im runnin). Then next season, Im going for the last shot with the chopped top!!.....Oh its gonna get chopped!!!! But just want to run it for one season TALL!!..:LOL:

A friend from Lutz Florida had a really nice tall T several years ago and traded it for a 36 Ford coupe. He always regretted getting rid of it as it was a nice riding car and very quick. Done right they are really nice rods. Looks to me you are on the right track with yours.:D :cool:

The coupe is looking really nice, 42!!!! Most excellent look with the channelling as is.... I like it!!!!

Thanks for the kind words everyone! Glad to hear ya'll like the direction Im going with it! I just got back from the NSRA SE nationals in Tampa. I was amazed that there was not ONE single tall T!!!:eek: Wish I had mine on the road.......but now Im REALLY enthusiastic about getting it done!:LOL:
