Sequential Taillights
I was thinking about the old T Birds and remebered that the 64' ( I think ) had sequential tailights and thought, wow they would be cool on my Benz. My question is how can I convert my taillights to sequential taillights? I don't think Benz puts out a kit for this and, even if they do it will most deffenitly be to expensive for me. I just want to know if there is a way I could do it with some relays and wire and other parts that may be required.

that is a cool ideal. I think you may be able to do that with soem L.E.D. s.

I'll have to check that out.

Do 3 stages of swtiches or so, then run wires from each switch to its corresponding tail light and you'll be good to go. Or, you could get a 3 position switch. If you find a 3 position switch that will work, I'll tell you how to wire it.

Tbird&Cougar
Check the T-Bird and Cougar boards. I remember the original OEM system used a wiper, contacts and a motor. Real Mickey Mouse but it did the trick. Later on somebody smarter than me develpoed a soild state system and many Cougars and Birds have been converted. Gives you sequential blinkers too.
