Has anyone out there installed a V6 in a 53 chevy sedan? I have been reading a lot of threads on V8 installs but nothing on V6. I was wondering if this would be easier than the V8 install? :)

If you are wanting some ease in installation a I6 would be good.:)
the steering box can get some what in the way if your going to use the old chevy bell crank steering so the drive side bank gets in the way so a v6 or v8 there not much dif
I would think a V6 would be worse than a V8 because the shorter block wouldn't reach the frame for the front mounts in the stock frame..
Thanks for the input on installing a V6 in a 53 Chev. I will take it in consideration. Probably will go with the V8 that I have versus buying another motor. Can put that money towards other well needed parts.

Thanks to everyone that replied to my post on installing a V6 in a 1953 Chevy. Will consider the options.
