Neat little Falcon---ok, they're not a Falcon in NZ---but I figure it's a good day if I remember my own name!!!!!!
Dave,it still is a Falcon over here, this particular car has a really warm 351W,tubs,etc,and some of my handiwork on the glass hood,,it was imported about 20 years ago by a south islander by the name of Craig Stare, the guy who has been running Muscle Car Madness for the last 20 years,,this is the twentieth year..He sold an Austin A40 Dorset[2 door sedan],in California I think,,set up as race car, with SBC etc..was called Street Fighting Man.
IC2,the Sprint gasser is a scary looking item, but it pulled the crowds, specially with the caps open,,:D
Next bunch taken in the sheds, the peoples choice was this scary little Austin A40 Dorset street/strip car, just rebuilt by the owner,a fantastic,if not a little eccentric[and possibly a bit concentric]:D car painter,we call him the paint slut,[he will paint anything for money].Try googling Imagineering..

Trevor Halsteads sedan delivery was built out of about six various models.BBC power, and totally custom built from the windscreen back..

This coupe was built nearly 30 years ago,and was dug out for old times sake..
Thanks for posting the pics. Great selection of rods.
No probs..I have a pile more yet, more outside stuff, but just a fraction of the 1500-2000 cars on display..will put some more on tomorrow..
Take a look at the car shown in the new Rod & Custom that came yesterday. The Falcon was sold at the Old School Reunion Meet at Famoso Drag Strip last summer to someone in "NZ"
Thats kool, the owner is [I believe] Kendal Smith from Kruzin Kustoms in Palmerston North,a couple of hours south of us,between him and the owner of Rocket Speed Equipment in Hamilton, about three hours north of here, there is a reasonable amount of machinery being uncovered.Dan,from RSE is always digging up old bodies to resurrect, like the old roadster body altered in the Waihi Dustup thread..
Man, I don't even like green, but that Stude is absolutely drop dead way kewl beyond description!!! Some very, very 1st rate fabricating! Super looking car, thanks for putting up the pics! That also has to be the neatest and smoothest rendition of a school bus I've seen!
Dave, the s kool bus has either a 502 or 572 BBC between its rails,a new build, and has only done a couple of hundred miles,on the way up to Auckland, the NEW trans dumped its guts, and it turned up on a transporter, the owner is probably not the happiest guy in town, not that I blame him..:(
Heres an interesting bunch...mr mustang, do I have your attention..
