Problem With Installing Side Oiler
I'm having a problem installing a side oiler in a 66' Fairlane Fastback with a 427, I lifted the front of the engine already, 7/8 of an inch and the brake booster is touching the vaulve covers. Any ideas?

Fire up the gas axe and cut the booster off. We don't need no stinkin' booster.....PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.

the side oiler is the same size as aregular 427 and all 427's after 65 were side oilers.i do not remember any 427's that came with power brakes except the 68 models.sure you do not have a 390???

Give it to me and I'll give you one of my Clevelands. . . .It'll work! ! !
They also make an offset bracket for brake boosters too. Look for one of them. It's Just a Car!
It takes a real MAN to build a hotrod - and not use chevy power!!?

What valve covers are you using? I know in the Stangs/Cougars if your using the taller finned Cobra LeMans VC's you need to shave the rear part of the top fin on the Dr side.
My grandfather, mom's side, drove a 39 Plymouth coupe when I was about 4 or 5 and I thought it was pretty cool and I loved the tail fins on the 49 Cadillac. I drew cars when I was in the 5th and 6th...
