To be or not to be (pro-street)
Looking for some opinions to set me at ease about the direction of my car. Been working on the thing for a number of years now, and when I started with the car I knew what I wanted; a fast, fun and cool looking street car. I went pro street because I grew up in the 80's I guess, but more because this type of car offers everything that a real hot rod is to me. It has a hot motor, fat tires, and drives on the street. Now it seems like every month I get my issue of the hot rod rag, they talk about how bad pro- street is and how great "pro touring" is. Should I go back and rebuild my car because it wouldn't be acceptable on power tour? I think not! It would be a shame if all older styles died every time someone had a new idea. There would be no more rat rods or white walls would there? I'm keep'n it fat and I hope others do too. Would be a cold day down there when I blow my retirement on a set of 20's or even 17's.
