Guys, what do you think: I took off the keystone mags and and put on Vintique solid steel wheels and Diamond Back new T9 tires.
Believe it or not the cat actually rides better with these tires.

getting ready for Louisville Nats. Need to put in a different shape of Softseal at base of front window to keep rain from being forced in. Ohio is still rainy these days. Also, I always wanted to have an electric windshield wiper so I can pass NSRA 23 Insp. since the coupe is chopped, I do not have much room above windshield. I need to do more research.
I'm a huge fan of red wheels although some people knock them as being "overdone." Duh, yeah, because they look great on a car like yours and like they belong there.

Another positive vote from me and I like the full fender/running board look.
Heck I didn't realise that red wheels/ white walls were over done as they do suit your car nicely. Do you run a full bonnet and side panels on for a change as that would simply change the look again.
Have a look at some of those small japanese car wiper motors you may find a small enough one to fit and do the job you require.
Some of the small British Leyland cars (MG midget, AH sprite for sure, probably mini) use a cable operated windshield wiper system that is adjustable and keeps the motor in a remote location. Take a look in a foreign car wrecking lot. Should work well on your A. I know English electrics are not well thought of, but you are not likely to be playing in the rain that much.:LOL:Quote:

I was actually looking into buying 1 of those cars ( 1973 MG-B ). decided I didn't want somthing that would require a lot of tinkering..... anyway, arn't the earlier cars ( pre '70? ) positive ground? making only the later cars feesable candidates for there wiper system..Quote:

My good freinds Bob & Gavin @ Newport wipers have a new wiper system for model A's... Bob assures me it will work on a chopped A with some modifications. I'm gonna try one in my coupe If I ever get through all of the metal work...
