For the younguns out there that is what I would consider to be a "full race" cam.
loved it. but where is the ferrari?
If a person doesn't get excited by that they should be on the Knitting Forum. :D:D
Lumpy cams always get attention.
Don
gets me through lonely nights in the garage:LOL:
So cool....!:toocool:
And who was saying that flat heads don't sound very good????
I would like that "A" parked in my garage anytime.
Sounds great to me!!!
160 hits and only 24 votes?
Okay, now I gotta guess how many didn't want to admit the third choice eh?
Gotta love that sound.
My guess, it's idling at about 300 RPM??
Only problem with that car? It's not in my garage! Just bitchin!
Can't wait to get my 59AB into the '34!!! :D
I've got the twin setup to this in my '30 roadster, both engines built by Vern Tardel. Mine has pretty much the same idle characteristic and shows 700 rpm on my tach. The exhaust note at revs is slightly different than mine, but that could either be attributed to the piping differences or sound reproduction on the computer.
I would never own one, mainly because i could never afford to buy or even rebuild one.
BUT, I will have to say I do love the sound of a healthy Flathead & this one sounds damn healthy to me....joe
