One Way To Build A Hot Rod Lincoln
I have been mentally building this truck since a friend of mine gave me this model, three years ago.
The plan is:
1932 Ford Truck
1946 Lincoln V12 with Ardun Head conversion
Stainless steel frame extended 6", 3" kick up in the front, cut down threw the cab area 3" for extra head room, kicked up 6" in the rear frame.
Stainless 5" dropped axle, stainless spindles, king pins and steering.
V8 quick change with the bells made out of stainless.
Air suspension front and back.
One of the reasons it has taken so long is the frame, I didn't want to start with a set of rails and cut them up as I have done in the past. I wanted to start from scratch and have it designed right from the start. That's when I decided to make it out of stainless. There either will be no chrome or polish and everything will be the brushed look or there will be a lot of polished parts.
The drawings were sent to the Lazar cutter 2 weeks ago, they should be here this week, so I will start as soon as they arrive.

Ditto on the model kits! My best were lost when the Hobby Shop burned under suspicious circumstances....
How did you get hooked on cars?
