Steve, in these times there are folks who need money more than hot rod parts, they even deliver.
Jack, those are repop Lincoln Bendix style brakes, Wilson Welding front hubs for the Buick drums, and repop rear hubs and drums.
Bob, that clean garage is nauseating. Throw a few boxes of parts around, will ya? You're making me feel bad. Seriously, those are some great looking new toys for the toybox.
My sponsor went awol, so I fell off the wagon again. Hey, those frame rails above needed a body to go on top, right?:) This ol' beast has been off the road since 1961. The bottoms of the quarters and the rear wheel well panels have a little cancer at the bottom, but the drip rails, subrails, the door bottoms and rear quarter corners are cherry. Even more amazing (for a model A) is the cowl bottoms aren't eaten through! Someone put a nicely crowned roof filler in it sometime in it's past, so I might just keep that. Between what's in the trailer, and in the back of the truck, there's actually a complete car here. (same ol' story, been passed from owner to owner in pieces over the years) Looks like I'll be selling off a bunch of stock parts to help pay for the rest of the build.
