My 61 Falcon gasser
Hi everyone,
I don't post much but I thought you might like to see some pics of my 61 Falcon "gasser" I just finished. Also, I added a few new pics of my 32 Chevy (been working on that too). I won't bore you with all the details, just wanted to show you what I drive to the local burger joint on friday nights. Thanks for looking, I think this forum is great.
Take Care,
Milner

That's a wicked little car you've built there! I remember back in Jr. High a fella in town had one like that and it was called Maximus Super. Anyone else remember that beer? It was all painted in a psychodelic theme, it was one of those cars that just burn into your memory! LOL..

Milner,
Two very nice rides. Have either of these cars been to the track and if so what sort of times are they running? Again, beautiful.

Thanks for all the nice replies, I'm glad you liked the pics. You don't see many hot Falcons around now but for us older guys, there was always somebody that had one in the past. Here's a few replies to your questions.
lamin8r - Here's a quick rundown of what it's got.
* strong 302 ford motor
* new T-10 4-speed
* custom subframe (it's a unibody so this ties the front frame, rear frame, and body all together as one solid unit).
* TCI 4-link coilover rear suspension (what a difference in traction from the old springs with traction bars).
* 8 inch rearend with a detroit locker tru-trac instead of the old posi unit. 3:54 gears which is nice for crusing at 70mph.
* Single stage acylic enamel paint like in the 60's, custom color to go with the original upholstery which is perfect.
I went to your thread and fully enjoyed it. Thanks. I originally built my 32 chevy back in 1978 so I know where your coming from.
Jack F - Never have run them at the drags. At my age I get my kicks just driving them on the street, not racing. When the gasser wars were going on in the mid sixties, I was in my early twenties so when I get in the Falcon and uncork the headers, it's like a trip down memory lane. I just enjoy going in the garage, putting on some good old rock&roll, and working on them.
rumrumm - Love your dash setup in your 32 Coupe. That's a beautiful car.
Once again, thanks for the replies.

The first model car I built was a 32 Ford roadster by Revell in the mid 50's.
How did you get hooked on cars?
