98 Year One Family Phaeton
At a dinner group tonight the host mentioned "...an old car in the garage" and went on to say that his grandfather had bought the 1914 Overland new, passed it on to his dad, who then passed it on to him a few years back. It last ran around 1960, and has been stored indoors through the years. Last year for right hand drive, first year for electric lights. All of the parts seem to be there, interior material and top are long ago deteriorated but framework, springs, bows, etc are complete. Looking at it I couldn't help but think, "Why couldn't he have waited and bought a 1932 Vicky???"Last edited by rspears; 02-05-2011 at 08:37 PM.
