Glad to see Pops is back on the road! I was tired of having the only running car in the shop
Let me tell you his roadster is wicked fast.... He took me around the block in her and I was screamin for mommy after the ride.
I am not buying his temp reading on the gauge at all. The infrared gun and the Mr. Gasket temperature gauge radiator cap agree at 170-180. Thats what I think is the true temp.

I'm thinking he needs to replace the interior gauge ... soon.

REGS,
That is the strange part, I think he did already and he got the same readings with the new gauge. Really StrangeDon Jr.

Two different brand new gauges and two different brand new senders, same reading. I might get adventurous today and hook up the direct reading gauge I bought for my rpu project and see what it reads.
I'm not really too concerned about it, I believe the radiator cap and the infared gun, plus I can hold my hand on both hoses and they are not really hot at all. I might actually be running at 170, from all the indicators.
The other thing is that my daily driver runs at 206-212, and the dealer tells me that is normal these days.
