You know i want to build a willys but there is just so many around and they all do the samething, trying to think of something different to do to one and yet still be a great cruiser, any ideas??. I think it was Dave Brisco that put me on to his buddy, so far thats the nicest one i found thats a little different. I'll see if i got the picture

Hey Kenny i did'nt know you were a member, nice work,. Dave gives you high praise, you would think your paying him or something. I've been going over those pictures, photoshoping some changes and ideas i have, so far your my top contender for a willys build, nice roadster.i've been crusing for builders getting info on others and i like your ideas. I've been thinking of giving the roof a chop, but not right off. I would like to do a hemi powerplant, but again thats been done. Maybe a Viper V-10, or even an old caddy v-12 like the lincoln from Barrett Jackson. Interiors on most willys are dull, havent really thought that one out yet.............but i praddle on....

Hey kenny, those Mini Cooper headlamps on the roadster?
Is there a pic of the late model hemi you described? I've been wanting to see one "cleaned up".
Speaking of queing off the headlamps, here's an idea for you.Last edited by Bob Parmenter; 03-03-2004 at 02:38 PM.

I would like to have an original 41. I would think the new 04 would be fuel injected, that i like. I had my eye on the one that barret jackson sold for $150K, i saw it for sale down in florida and kept an eye on it, they were asking $160, which i thought was high, i figured $125-$135 was what it would go for, someone liked it. i might of been interested in it if it was steel or original. But i liked how they put it together with those one off designs. I would rather go with something tucked under the hood, but yet have the demon power. Watched that rides show with (name escapes me now, built the killer bisqayne) his engine builder had a 1200hp vette that was tucked in, new tuner tech power. Something along those lines with old style body/new tech. idea

You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
