What's NEW at CHR?

Here's a little sampling of the new stuff you should try out! Still work for me to do, but progress has been made.

• New Look - I took your feedback today and invested a bit of dough to get another style. Some work to do on it, but looking better!
• Gallery is updated to latest software. Much better and more stable.
• When you post a picture(s) in the gallery, a new thread can be created to show off the pics. Makes the stuff more visible to folks.
• When posting pictures in a forum, there's now a link under the smilies for "my photos" which makes it SUPER EASY to get your pictures from the gallery to your post.
• Media Gallery - You can add videos from youtube to the media gallery for easy viewing.
• Pasting a youtube url in a thread will automatically embed the video in the thread.
• Blogs - If you like writing blogs, now you can. Enjoy!
• Gallery images show in your user profile
• Now you can link your facebook account to your account here - mark threads/posts a "like" and it will show on your wall - Just click the "Facebook Connect" button on the top of the page.
• and more...

Wish I could remember them all at the moment. Bill or someone will fill the gaps! :)

I know sometimes change is difficult, but there's a lot of good here too. I hope you find a way to like it. For those who hate it, I do apologize, and I'm doing my best to bridge that gap.

It will take time

This site even with my very old windows 98 and dial up "was" one of the fastest sites I posted to.Now it moves like one movement at a time and sometimes I get a alert the script is unresponsive.I have held off on investing on a replacement computer after my other XP computer went down so I can apply the money to shop and equipment and to my projects.

I am hoping while you are working on this change that this situation for me will get better.The site has for me become home.

Just trying it to see what happens. With the warm weather I am getting back to my roadster build and I hope this site will be there for the inevitable questions!

One feature I really like is the "Like" link. So many times I just want to say thanks for the post, or I agree and just don't post anything because I personally don't need to see a bunch of I agree posts. Now I can like a post and move on without any trouble.

Hey Brent, I'm a ol lurker, Just started posting with some folks I know from elsewhere. I didn't notice the change cause it wasn't anything I was used to. The baby blue background seems like Easter and a little bit fairy for me, is there a button I can push for a different background or do I have to make my computer change it? In addition I'd like to add that it's a pretty cool place anyway. Oh, Why can't you have a built in spell checker. Im real leary about downloading new spell checker programs because I have all I want or need on my computer now. Nolan
