1946 Project on hold for a time-
I bought a 1960 Pontiac Catalina 2 door hard top- one owner- CA car with 83,000 miles- sitting in a shed behind the 90 year old owners house- not been run since a botched back yard tune up-
Got it running middle of last week-
Exhaust system yesterday- radiator out to shop for recore today- tomorrows project is the brakes- acts like the wheel cylinders are seized up- moisture probably rusted the bores- will change all fluids and filters after I finish the tune up when the radiator comes back- so far don't have a grand in the project- front tires are ElDorado brand bias plies that look like new but he says are 20 years old- rear are a Mobile brand but wore out- vehicle is rust free and in excellent shape/ good chrome/ stainless and glass for 51 years old-I'll get back to the 1946 but this one needed little to be back on the road- original paint-
not a hot rod but nice enough for me- sucker weighs in at a sleek 3997 pounds-

Sorry for your loss of friend Mike McGee, Shine. Great trans men are few and far between, it seems. Sadly, Mike Frade was only 66 and had been talking about retirement for ten years that I know...
