Recently MikeP posted a link http://www.clubhotrod.com/chevy-smal...tml#post427687 to an article from Hot Rod about the Lunati Cams 4/7 swap on SBC engines. The article stated that it was from the February 2009 Issue of Hot Rod, which I did not recall seeing before. I pulled that issue, and low and behold the article is not in the print copy. Looks like it was an e-article only. Run into this before??
A lot of times articles in the newsstand copies are different (more of them) than subscription copies!!

The 4-7 swap cam is very popular with our customers and we have supplied them with engines shipped not only here in USA but also to Australia, New Zealand, FInland, DenmaRK, iSRAEL, and other counties around the world except for Africa( we don't have any customers there at this time)((mostly because of the scam deals from there))
The dirt track racers love them as the different power off the corners is very noticeable and they still run up top---Many companies besides Lunati have them
Yeah, Jerry, it looks like a slick deal on the cams. My question here was more on the magazine articles, and Geezer's answer makes me wonder what other things I've missed over the years with the subscription copies? One thing that I had not realized before is the the Chevy 18436572 firing order is actually the same as Ford's 15426378 when you use a common numbering pattern for the cylinders; and that Ford figured out the balanced crank forces back when they brought out the 351, and adopted that firing order for their HO engines (they swapped 3&5 and 4&7 which actually matches the Chevy Gen III & IV LS Series firing orders). All the numbers kind of make your head spin, but when you see the pictorial of the cylinder pairs and numbering schemes it's really cool, at least to me....
