I just got my 1930 where I take it out for a drive. When I bought it, thee was 67 miles on a newly rebuilt engine that I don't think had been driven in a while. I say this because the paperwork from the shop that built it said to bring it back after a few hundred miles so they could address the oil leaks. I only drve it once before I tore the car down and that was over a year ago.
Now when I bring it back after a good drive, it dumps an oil spot when I shut it off about the size of a saucer. This is at the rear oil pan location.
Does this sound like a rear main seal or oil pan? Anything particular to look for?
