Thats Kool. Got to see them build Suburbans in Arlington, and my son builds Peterbuilts here in Denton Texas. Its unbelievable.
Wow, that was cool ! Can you imagine how technologically advanced that was for 1936? Some of those machines were almost robotics.
I love seeing old movies of assembly lines, like where guys were lifting model t bodies down onto their frame, wish there were more of them to watch. This one was well done, thanks for posting it, Mike.
Don
Thanks Mike, great video!!!!!
That was pretty amazing, can you imagine adjusting all those machines so they'd actually work! You know just one thing out of whack and it would shut down the whole mess. I loved it when that guy was standing in the middle of the frame riveting and all those machines would come together to make the crossmember and he'd whack something with the hammer, no doubt in my mind whatever he was whacking was critical!
Wow...I could have watched an hour of that...thanks for posting!
Yep thanks Mike
Terrific video and like said above could have watched a series of these .
That was really cool, Mike. I had no idea we had that level of automation in the 1930s.
