Oh yeah, I just finished 2 of the 14 circuits wired to the plug for the gauge cluster a little bit ago. Going to call it quits for today and head to the house. I'm sure I'll get right back on it tomorrow morning .......what could go wrong?

I seem to have gotten to the age where I hide stuff in my garage a lot ... where did I put that? Or looking through a drawer, wow, I didn't know I had that!

Hey Ryan, have a quick question for you.

Is the dual quad intake on your 40 a factory Chrysler piece or a Weiand? Looking at pictures of the Weiand 7263 it appears to be an almost exact copy of the Chrysler dual quad so I was wondering.

Yeah best laid plans, etc etc, I'm rethinking the Hot heads single 4 BBL intake in favor of Dual Quads because of height issues.

Sorry for the super late response. My intake is a new old stock weiand one. I almost went with the hot heads single 4bbl but finally got it figured out. This car fought me every inch of the way.

Yeah I know how that goes Ryan.

I appreciate the response. Don't know if you looked at my build thread, but I found a nice older Weiand Dual Quad Intake...., hood clearance is going to be tight but a lot better than the Hot Heads intake. I've pretty much ditched the FI idea and going to be running a couple of AVS2s on it.

Hope everything is going well for you and the family.

Saw a post on FB, by one of your friends who "tagged" you, of the '40 driving down the main drag at GoodGuys MW Nat's in DesMoines in July, right? Looking forward to a thread update (with pictures!! LOTS of pictures!!) to explain how you won the fight!!

That might be doable if the site stayed up long enough.

Went back and realized that the clip I remembered was Ryan idling down the road to the Prairie City car show September 29th, but I'm thinking that Seth Devries shared that the 40 went to Goodguys in July, but trailered to the event? Ryan can clarify once he thaws out from this arctic cold snap we're in!! Here's a link that may work if you have Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/10002979767...0307350372049/
