Jet Hot Coatings Testimonial
Some time back I was double checking my base timing, chasing an EFI tune problem and I over-temped my headers, cooking the ceramic coating. I think I turned the air blue when I realized my mistake :o and I've been looking at alternatives since. Thought about painting them satin black, or hi-temp silver, or wrapping with header tape, but none of those really appealed to me. I also knew that I was going to re-do my baffles, so I had not been a hurry to recoat until that was done.
Today I called a local shop and was amazed that their price was about 1/3 higher than I had originally paid Jet Hot, but I was also looking at shipping, down time, etc, etc. Still, I decided to drop Jet Hot a note, telling them of my stupid mistake, and asking for a quote to re-coat. I attached before & after photo's, and to my surprise they came back and told me that my coating has a lifetime warranty, and that if I get the headers to them they will recoat and send them back :D:D:D I was amazed that they would re-work the headers under warranty!! :D
Jet Hot does a fantastic job on their coatings, and I now know that they are a stand-up company that goes above and beyond expectations for their product. Anything I need a high temp coating on in the future will be going to Jet Hot, no questions asked.
