There are many manufacturers of 4 bars with coilovers for the rear. Heitds, Fatman, TCI, Morrison, Speedway and so on. You could go fully independent with a Kugel. I would say for a street rod pick up, you are probably looking around 130lbs. That is what I run in my all steel '31 coupe with a rumble seat.Keith

Yup, like Keith said, way to heavy on the spring rate.... I'd go with something in the 110 to 130 pound rating. With too stiff a spring, the shock can never work or ride correctly. Better to err on the soft side then on the stiff side!!!!
As to which brand, I've switched to AFCO for coilovers and shocks, they seem to be more accurate on their coil rating and shock valving probably due to their racing background.... That's not to say they are the only company that makes a quality unit, just that it's my preference...Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Visited a family member at Dockery Ford from the time I was 1 year old through their ownership and then ownership change to Morristown Ford. Dockery was a major player in the Hi Performance...
