Maybe A New Start??
Well, nothing for them to go into at this point in time, but saw a '85 Fiero being parted out and asked about the seats. The guy was asking $50, but said, "They're pretty rough..." so I offered him $40 for the pair and he jumped at it. They're in a little better shape than the pair I got for the '33, with a latch spring and the plastic side covers missing, and the tracks are a bit rusty but nothing a wire wheel won't fix. A set of covers from my guy in Florida and they'll be just fine. Now to figure out what they need to go in....

I have a friend with a couple of junk Fieros. I will get the seats out of one of them. Like you I don't know what they'll go in but they will store in the rafters just fine. :)
I also have a couple of nice seats out of a Neon. They are in pretty good shape and are about the same package size as the Fiero.

Very comfortable seat Roger.
That what I just put in the new roadster.
Have em @ the trimmer right now matching the exsisting interior.
I originally pulled the cover off and cut the back down so they'd clear the back on a roadster,
Sat on em 4 2 trips to LARS, now goin in anutter roadster.
You could always buid a roadster 2 put em in !!!!!!!!!

Yeah Don, a roadster is one of those things I've thought about, and it may be time to do one. Today I got a text message from another guy who's parting out a pair of Fiero's and he says both driver's seats have foam damage on the bolsters (very common, easy fix), and that he'd make me a good deal on both sets, "...so you can mix & match pieces." Four seats, $40 plus a 60 mile drive. It'll cost me $20 in gas in the old beater truck, but $15 a seat is too good to pass up. Maybe four buckets in that Phantom Deuce Woody......
