Brought home some Dodges
I seen these advertised on FB swap and for once I was the first one to message him 16 minutes after he posted it. Pretty much got about 2 whole Dodge pickups and a bunch of extra parts. The cab on my trailer is the most rust free cab of this vintage I've ever seen and I was glad to get a pilot house cab also. I think I'm going to swap the rear half of the pilot cab onto the nice cab. It doesn't show it on the pics but both boxes were chuck full of all the extra parts. The plan for this build is to either find a running V8 Dakota or use a Dakota frame with a 5.3, I read that is about the best fitting frame for 50's pickups. I'm not going to do anything to the body, going to leave it all naturalI'm looking forward to this build after I get my wife a new kitchen
I think I got a steal for $500

You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
