1931 Willys Street Rod
I've got this guy who wants to sell me his willys street rod. It's been in the garage collecting dust for 8 years now so he's ready to let it go. It's a 1931 Willys 5w rumble seat coupe with an all steel very stright body, 3-1/2 chop, electric steel sunroof, Heat treated glass with power windows, full fendered with running boards, 70 454 Bored 60 over to a 468 with Roller rockers, aluminum heads, stainless headers and exhaust, TH400 B&M, Custome made Budnick wheels with matching steering wheel, 12 bolt posi, 5 link suspension, Koni Coil overs, Power brakes and steering with a custom Mustang II rack set-up (nice looking), good paint and interior, Porsche seats (light coral with tan tweed cloth like what was real popular about 15 years ago) He has spent an easy $60K building this car doing all of the work himself and has $9K in receipts for the engine alone with a 540HP dyno ticket. The car was done right. It needs detailing and some very minor touch-up to be smokin. He'll sell the car as-is for $25K or rolling for $19K. I can't find a lot of info on 31 Willy's rods. What do you guys think?? What's this thing really worth???Old dusty Relics
Ditto on the model kits! My best were lost when the Hobby Shop burned under suspicious circumstances....
How did you get hooked on cars?
