Started getting some of the wiring put together for the Plymouth, just the harness for the car is put in with the wires separated and going to the right place so far, trying to get these wires going where they belong before I start on the engine harness. Got the dash put together and just had to set it in place to see how things were going to look....
Oh yeah, using a Speedway Motors wiring harness on this one!!! They're very reasonably priced compared to the "big name" stuff and so far no complaints on the quality...Only thing it's really missing is a maxi-fuse for the main power feed buy my NAPA guy set me up with one. Here's a pic of the harness:
That dash looks incredible, Dave! Did you hand build that whole console?
Made the console (needed room in this skinny cowl 30's car to hide some wiring), and made a lot of changes to the dash from it's stock configuration....The owner wanted the dash to be clean and simple...Quote:

Wow I am very envious of your progress. Are you using the 5 speed automatic behind the hemi ? Those dash insert is going to look nice all lit up. It looks like you may have the motor cover painted too. If you get a chance it would be nice to see some pics of your engine compartment.

Wow Dave that looks great. I like the fab work/metal dash console! It is nice and clean. The wiring looks daunting, but I'm sure it's easier than all that body work!:eek:;):)

Dave that is one thing that the 2006 has over 2005 and earlier Hemis. They don't have the plug wires crossing back and fourth. With the different coil pack design they stopped making the aluminum valve covers though.
Yeah, wish that's what these were, both engines are '05's though... Oh well, maybe the next one will be an '06 (and a pair of the Arrington modded heads)!!!!Quote:
