I was thinking of a road race stance and modifiying it a little. It's a sb with a 4spd and an 8 3/4 rear so it should be a fun car for twisty 2 lane roads I'm thinking. Picture everything black, no chrome w/white stripes.

Going to be a nice little car when you're done. I need to get back down your way sometime.
U bet, your always welcome.
Well Tony, that little fish looks interesting..................those sb mopars are unappreciated horsepower lumps. Not much tweaking needed to get good, reliable power.
Every once in a while I come across some pieces that beg to be cleaned up and resold to boost the balance in the fun account. Every time I do this I think I've gone over the edge. I just blame it on an old head injury. So here's some stuff I've been disassembling the last day and a half. All that hardware on the floor was needed to break loose some of that old iron.
Brickman, just love those old Cudas, especially since we have very few of them down here..I like that a lot..Will go well with the right treatment to that small block..There was a guy up in South Carolina, cant remember, but I bought my KB hypereutectic slugs from him about 12 years ago,for my 451 inch B/B..I remember him saying how he had some dirty little tricks for S/Bs..I think his name was Gary Howell..yeah,Gary Howell automotive..Is he still in business at all?seemed to be a reasonable guy to deal with..
Great looking Cuda, Brick! I love the roofline on these early ones. Glad to see your feeling well and still wrenching.
hi all!
this is my first post. i have bought a 48 ford tudor as my first rod.
It is a project and will need to be completely rebuilt-exactly what i wanted.
also came with a complete jag 'donor car' for suspension so should ride very nice when its done!
Wont bring it home til i finish the extension on my shed so ill have the room to work on it.
ill get some pics of it up soon in its curent state witch is really good actually -NOS bonnet, both doors, rear left quarter and even the rest is in bloody good nick.
anyway just thought id get a say in and introduce myself.
Well not exactly the welcoming place but I'll say it anyhow - WELCOME to another from half way around the world.
We hope to see pictures soon. Sounds like a decent car to start on and then the Jag underside will make for some interesting "stuff" for us. Hope that it's Ford power:3dSMILE::LOL::LOL:
Welcome Spike! Sounds like a great project, anxious to see the pictures!
Welcome Spikeo, looking forward to seeing some pics of your ride.
A while back I had posted that my 29 ford model A was cutting out while
driving on rough roads.Well finally found that may 3 duce set up
was in fact causing my issue. Just to eliminate fuel issue. I put on
a 4bbl she is now running like a champ again. Thank you to all who
threw their hat in to the ring to help me nail the issue. See pic's profile.

I am finally just about done with my body work so I had to post a pic of my progress. Still have a lot of blocking to do of course but it is nice to get an idea of what it will look like. I am putting in tear drop tail lights like 35fordguy did and have yet to figure out how to attach my hood sides. I have them hanging from the bar you see in the pic but I don't know how to fasten the bottoms. Any ideas?
Here is the progress of my tail lights so far.
