Fixer Upper?
What do you guy's think on this... http://adcache.collectorcartraderonl...6/73049306.htm
Think it would be a lot to hot rod this out? What all would I need to do with it besides another CHEVY engine, tranny, front and rear end and a little other things here and there to clean it up?
Any oppinions would be helpful, thanks.

Well you could just leave her basically stock and do only period hot rod upgrades. Say a 2x2 intake, ohv conversion, or milled head, back the 4 banger with an early ford toploader stuffed with zephyr gears and add on early juice brakes to stop your newly rodded beast.

Well I don't know. I guess I could drive it the way it is, give it a tune up and all if needed and just drive it around until the engine goes and then throw in a nice Chevy 350 or the biggest engine I can fit and go find a front end and rear end at a junk yard or something. Something like that I would street rod it. I found that and it's about an hour and a half from me and I didn't think I would wan't to spend so much with that car since it's all stock but then I found some pics in my mag of some like it but more 1932's and all but still look the same and thought it would look good.
Any more oppinions would be great as well. I will try and get some pics of some like that but fixed up and post them on here in a couple of minutes.
Thanks again.

Just a tip, A bones are nice stock, but nothing beats the looks of a hot A with a souped 4 banger flatty. Toss the grille and replace it with a filled 32 from brookville.
Trust me, 90% of these modern nitwits cant tell the difference between the two then.

Got any pics of what this thing looks like?

Id have to find the pics, but I have them. A 32 shell will fit over a model A radiator just fine, you have to rework the brackets a bit, but it'll work. Unfortunately its a bit narrower than the A hood so youll have to either pinch the stock hood in front or again brookville makes a hood for a model a running a 32 grille shell.
I only know this because last year id bought a 31 coupe turned roadster and wanted to do that with it.
