want to put spotlights on my '60 LeSabre
I want to put spot lights on my '60 Buick LeSabre but have no idea on what is involved. I haven't got the lights yet because I don't know what size I need, I went on the unity web site and they have a application finder that says I need one with 12 5/8" shaft and 17 1/2" center to center. Can anybody fill me in on how to do this. Also I don't want dummy lightsGerig Michael H.

Try Kanter Automotive (look for web site) or J.C. Whitney. Get a set of spotlight brackets that are for your Buick. The easy way is to line them up on the car in the correct spot, and drill at the same angle as the hole on the bracket. Most unity spotlights have parts that are interchangeable (shafts, buckets, etc..) You may be able to go to a wrecking yard or swap meet and buy several parts type lights and make a good one or two. I have done this often, it works great.. You can also buy the Buick spotlight cresta from Kanter too, if you want them..
And then a newer model....
