1931 Buick Coupe Jalopy-Modified
1931 Buick 5 Window Coupe Jalopy-Modified (Original 1970's Car). 1934 Ford straight axle leaf spring car. Completely stripped and rebuilt two years ago with a new cage installed. Complete rolling chassis, no motor or transmission. Set up for small block Chevy and a Powerglide automatic. Water and temperature gauges. Quick-recall tachometer. Aluminum racing seat. 8 gallon fuel cell. Franklin quick change rear-end with 4.86 ring and pinion. Howe quick-steer. Front disk brakes and Wilwood hubs. Rear drum brakes. Original 15 inch "wide-five" steel wheels with McCreary racing tires...for display purposes. Set of four 15 x 10 "wide-five" wheels.

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
