1940 Mercury 4 door
Car is in good shape, the body panel that runs from side to side under the trunk and bumper has a little rust on each side. the car seems to be solid, floor pans are in good shape. this car had been setting in a guys barn for years, he said he drove it in there and turned it off, I tried cranking it and it will try to start and then die. I would think the gas tank needs draining and carb and fuel pump rebuilt. it has a flat head V-8 and I know nothing about how to put new points in the dist. he had put a 12 volt battery in it and I think that might have burned the points up--I;m just gussing. I can send more pictures if anyone is interested. I'm asking 6k for this car and right now that is firm price
Sorry for your loss of friend Mike McGee, Shine. Great trans men are few and far between, it seems. Sadly, Mike Frade was only 66 and had been talking about retirement for ten years that I know...
