kinda cool looking, just rotted to hell
If this isn't a cut up wagon, it is a flower car for funerals, I bet. Probably why it is so rusty. I bought a Ford Wagon one time that was a funeral home flower car, and it was rusted all through the rear. Evidently the leaking wet flowers rust them back there.

Update: I just read the ebay ad, it is someones customizing attempt, no flower car.
The doors look wrong they're too short, and the back window looks bad too. It needs two door hard top style doors and rear quarters put on it and a small convertible rag top. Tub the rear and put a nice custom tonneau cover that forms to the back of the seats like a 58 vette does. What do they want for it?
it may be a flower car, but all of the ones that i have seen have the bed raised up past the top of the quarters but ive never seen a '57 chev flower car so it could be.i just checked it out on ebay under 1957 el camino, its was going for about 1500 with a buy it now of 4000
the buy it now price is 4500. but the auction might close for less. on eBay, search 57 el camino. At first I thought it was a chopped Nomad, but no such luck. Might have been a SD. That was this AM, sounds like he lowered the BIN price.
I think it looks more like it was made from a handyman delivery!!
just my take on this..
You can make out the splits in the chrome and the outline of the rear doors. I'd say it was cut up from a 210 station wagon.
Good eye, thing is looking worse and worse. :LOL:Quote:

You could put a lot of captions to the picture of that driver about to end up on his head, but probably the most accurate would be "OH S***."     Hope what was probably a water pipe roll cage held up.
