Dodge 360 J heads

Why are the J heads beter than any other heads? Do they flow more? From looking at them in a picture they look like my 1976 smog heads whithout recirculating exhuast holes in it.

if you wereto look at the intake ports you will see that they have been cut out to allow air in as well as if you look at the exhaust ports stick your finger in them and you can tell that it has a very easy flow to get the gases out al in all they are the best street head with out doing a lot of work
