New member - likes going fast
I have a 56 chev truck and a 66 Ford ranchero. I have gutted the truck (by the way I have alot of original parts) and threw in a hi-po 350, T 350 tranny, a dana 44 rear (410) cut back and tubbed. Redone the front and rear suspension and brakes (front disk). Got hot parts in the motor ths barely street legal....and I mean barely.
The 66 Ford is all completely original. Has a 289 CB, a 9 incher in the rear and is cherry red. This one doesnt see the road much but turns all the old timers heads. It is fully loaded and the original A/C still works, bucket seats and custom console. It likes going 70-80 down the freeway....just gliden.
The only problem I am having these days is that you cant find nobody to rat race ya at the stop lights no more. They act like they dont see ya. Where are the good old days?
