awesome site
Hi, my name is C.J. I loved this site so much that I just had to join. I have a 95 z28 that I am building right now and a 74 nova. The z28 is a heads, cam, bolt on car that I am building. (also I am in the process of replacing the bearings and rings) My dad is a gearhead like myself, and he has a 85 z28, 94 caprice (ex cop car) and a 53 ford f100 with a 390 bb and a 4 speed tranny both out of a 69 torino. I have been around hot rods all my life and finally have the money to start playing with my own. If you want to know anything else just ask. C.J.Last edited by 95z28_m6; 12-31-2006 at 10:43 AM.

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
