New guy from Utah.
Just thought I would drop by and say hello, I am somewhat new to the hot rod world with my own project but grew up around them, I am currently doing a 40 Ford pickup build with help from many family members. My dad got his first car (40 Ford Coupe Deluxe) in 63-64 and we still have it, along with many of my uncles cars/trucks. Since my brother has dads car I began my own project, I couldn't figure out how to upload any pictures, not sure if I have to hyperlink them from elsewhere or what, I'll stop back later and figure it out.

Thanks, No, my cousin had the truck for a few years prior to me getting it from him, the frame he got with the truck was cut up in the rear, I didn't have plans to tub it so we scrapped that frame out and used an original coupe frame that my father and uncle found in a scrap pile in a field in the middle of nowhere in the early to mid 1970's.

Welcome to CHR and awesome truck! I have a 40 Tudor Deluxe under the knife currently. It looks like a lot of nice metal work has been done to your truck. I love that BBC power too! Have any pics of Dad's coupe?Ryan

Thanks, Yes I have tons of pictures of dads from 1964 to current. Heres a couple currents. It's kind of a family thing.
Yellow coupe is dads in it's current state (455 Buicked since the 70's), other 40 coupe is my uncles,(SRT8 Hemi) my uncle had 3 in 63 so both have never left the family since. Topless Chevy (also 455 Buick) is a different uncles/cousins.

My brother re-built dads car with dad and also this 57 150 handyman wagon (Goat Wagon) with his father-in-law, (he bought car in 1968) all work done by them at home except sewing upholstery.

Each one of these is family

Wow, I don’t know of any family with that many hot rodders in it. That’s really cool!Steve
You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
