Thanks Richard....I'm learning everything the hard way.
I had the car in a "Hot Rod shop"....
....8 months, mucho dinero....couldn't get it painted. They did
get the TCI frame in OK, and hung my front end on....as well
as my rear end. That was the deal. TCI makes too many frames, and can't do anything but "production" work.
That's where the "subs" come in....(like vultures)
Anyhoozle....I'm a retired mechanic/truck driver, and I'm
whacking away like a Wild-Man.... ....I'm doing the elec
wiring now....
I may throw myself out a window soon....Model "A"....all the way !

Well...(heh heh heh)....I'll buy the beer.... ....
....but who's gonna wire the car, while I do the barbee ?
I got some of the main stuff wired, but as you can see....
it's "Rookie City".
Some of the wires were too short, others too long....
Oh well, I'm gonna keep thrashing on this thing.....

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
