Well i know this is the paint section but i got a body question. Can any one give me an appox. cost on how much it will be to get some new rocker panels welded in my 77 gmc? Im not by going to try to do it my self. The items i need to get welded in are inner/outer rockers and floor support covers. I just need and educated amont before i take it to a shop, dont want to pay to much.Thanks

This is going to be a deal where a person can hardly give you an estimated guess with out seeing it , rust repair is not usually cheap .
Better take your truck to several shops for estimates , if truck isnt running , take alot of pics , inside , outside , and under side of floor boards , to give them an idea of what is involved in the repair .

around here our labor rate is 42.00 bucks an hour .

how ever long it takes at their hourly rate.No other real way of telling.It might of had work done before, that could make it tougher.

INRESTORE, FOR TRUCKS THE HR IS 38 TO 45 @ 8 TO 15 HRS PER SIDE. SOMETIMES A SETUP AND MEASURE CHARGE IS ADDED.
