Thread: Outta the Blue Paint

I have been looking for anyone who has information on a blue color that I saw on a 2003 or 2004 Cadillac Escalade. One the window sticker it listed the color as:

"Outta the Blue"

I don't really like blue, but this was the greatest and brightest metallic blue I had ever seen. I cannot find it in the GM Dealer paint book !

I am getting ready to paint my 78 Nova coupe and I would really consider painting it this blue if I could find it. Has anyone ever heard of this color???

I did a quick search of the net, with no luck. Call the dealer who sold it. Might have been painted by them.

The color is listed as Out of the Blue" , no code though. It was new for 2003 on the EXT. The parts dept. at any dealer should be able to give you the paint code.

Thanks for the input. My memory has gone into "seniorhimerzs". I recalled it being listed as "Outta the Blue" but it does not surprise me that I was using good ol' southern slang and no respecting Cadillac dealer would dream of uttering such a phrase. "Out Of The Blue" might well be in their paint book. I will check. Thanks again.
