Has anyone tried powder coating on aluminum heads and intake? I'm thinking the powder coat that gives the aluminum the anodized look. Wondering how it might hold up?

i've got an eastwood gun:whacked:
the run of the mill powdercoating will handle 300 degrees, ok for intakes,
oil pans,timing chains,valve covers,etc etc:)
makes engine clean ups quick and easy! lasts twice as long as most engine enamals.
they also make coatings for exhaust manifolds, that will handle 1100 degrees!
but i've found the finish on these only lasts about 2 or 3 summers before i have to re-do them! probably cause they are porus and rust under neath the coating!
anodised coating is very cool too...did my powersteering pump!:3dSMILE:
