My air tubing setup came in the mail today. It looks pretty straight foward for setup, except on their website they show mounting the water trap right by the compressor. From everything I've read most people mount them down line near the air outlets to give the compressed moisturized air time to condense out. I've heard 20 and 22 feet at least from the compressor. Anyone with any opinions on this? I'll hopefully get a break in the rain to plumb the compressor today or tomorrow, but I have to put the truck out side to do it, and rather not get it wet!:CRY:
I've always been told the same thing (20 feet away) to allow the water to condense... I also put it at the a low point in the line (trap if you will)... will be interesting to see other viewpoints...
