Air compresser
I am using a small 5 hp compresser with a 30 gal. tank. Will adding a bigger tank give me more CFMs to run my air tool.

No, only more capacity before the motor kicks on. But the downside is it will also take the motor longer to fill that tank back up so it will run a lot longer. The only thing that really affects output of an air compressor is the size of the motor and of the compressor itself. The tank only stores what those two components can produce.
When we finally moved up to a 3 cylinder 5 hp compressor I considered adding a second 80 gallon tank so that I would have more run time between start ups, but a conversation with Eaton Compressor informed me that all I would be doing is making the motor run a lot longer each time it kicked on, to fill that second tank.

Thanks for the information, I kinda thought that but wanted to ask someone more informed before I added the bigger tank.
