For sale/Trade New Performance SBC 350 motor
Ok, well I built this for a model coupe project I had that is now gone. I don't see an opportunity coming up anytime soon to use it so. Plus I could use the cash to help fund the building of a new garage.
Anyway, here it goes. The block was from a 1974 chevy truck. Estimating 325-350+Hp out of is after all I have done to it. It was made for an open hood to look real nice and clean. Looks relatively plain with nostaligic type dress up stuff. The good stuff is on the inside where nobody sees it coming. Selling complete carb to pan. Here's the details and parts.
Chevy 350 motor (all parts are brand new, never been fired)
1974 4-bolt main block (hot tanked, magna-fluxed, bored, honed)

Eagle Crank
Clevite 77 performance bearings

Mooneyes aluminum valve cover breathers (short style) x2
The picture does not show the starter or breathers installed. The only thing you need to do before install is put in the screw in water plugs (not freeze plugs) in the heads and intake manifold, and add a fan. I also have 99% of the receipts from this motor build including the machine shop notes. I'm selling it to break even. The motor is painted ford red.
$4100obo located just north of Columbus, OH. There is a cherry picker there to load you. Can get more pics for interested parties.
Possible trade/partial trades of pre-1960 good running coupes considered. Perhaps trade for a nice start to a model A coupe project or very good Model A body.
You can't afford to have a motor like this built for this price. I'm taking a loss.
Pictures are a bit grainy... looks fantastic in person, viewable by appointment. Will not crate or pallet. Will deliver within 150miles for $1/loaded mile.
