Model A Parts for Trade
Im new to the rod scene. I am trying to put together a budget Model A roadster.
I have a large selection of Model A parts to barter with.
I am looking for a Roadster body, Dropped front axle, running flathead, and brake parts.
Smal list of what I have available: ( as well as lots of small parts that will be on a "ask if I have it" basis)
31 Model A truck. Basically a rolling chassis not assembled front axle, bed, body, frame(no horns) Drivetrain available
Various 4 cyl engines
4 truck bodys
a few front wishbones
a few radiator shells
various light bars and lights
Delivery truck rolling chassis and drivetrain (1ton?) no bed
4 door body (unknown year at this time)
lots of OE wheels
etc etc
Parts are not at my location so please give a few days for response.
My lingo may be off, so please dont flame :D
would prefer to barter, not sell.
All parts are New Mexico Stored for many years.
My father is a restorer.
Pics available, ask me if I have it!

Well freight from New Mexico is not cheap, but maybe you have some small parts. Trade is a problem for me since I only have one extra Model-A frame, useless except as a pattern. I have 4" stroker crank for a flathead V8 with rebuildable rods and an aluminum single-pot intake for a flathead. I also have a '50 Merc flywheel and used pressure plate (rusty). I am building what is so far a totally reproduction '29 roadster but I would like some original parts. How about a rear tire mount for a spare? Maybe the iron bar mount for a fenderwell spare, left and/or right?
So far I don't see you mention anything close in value to the stroker crank which is worth at least $250 as is with rods (you can get a new one from Speedway Motors but not that cheap!). I might be interested in buying a headlight bar outright but I don't have anything else to trade. How about the single-pot (truck) aluminum flathead intake for a headlight bar?
