48 plymouth steering column
Looking for a column out of a 48 plymouth special deluxe. I don't need steering wheel or turn signal switch. The guy I aquired my car from tediously labeled every small part and organized them into boxes according to location, but when it came to the steering column, he decided to throw it out because it was attatched to the steering box! Thanks for your help.

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
